Kyaw Kyaw Hlaing earned a Master of Science in Physics from Yangon Arts and Science University. Before starting up his very first company called SMART Technical services in 1994, K.K Hlaing worked for Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise as Geophysicist from 1975 to 1981, and worked for Schlumberger Technical Services as Field Engineer/ Data Services Manager from 1981 to 1994 in countries including Myanmar, India, Indonesia and the United States of America.

Since he was young, KK Hlaing frequently involved in environmental actvities and Youth Empowerment initiatives. He now has produces videos on Leadership, Management, and Environmental awareness programs.

Aside from being a Chairman for SMART Group of Companies, he is also a weekly TV personnels. He also frequently involved in environmental activities including producing a video awareness program titled “Stop Using Plastic Bag” and “Waste”, and participate enthusiastically regarding advocacy works on safeguarding environment. Also, he have authored more than 10 books on several topics.
