CSR has emerged as a business approach for addressing the social & environmental impact of company activities.
Mostly, companies from the oil & gas sector have been at the centre of CSR development.
Our Company, SMART Technical Services, also stands as a responsible corporate citizen and being good neighbors for the communities,
we are working with. We always strive to balance our business objectives with the need to the well-being of the society.

SMART has over the years fruitfully initiated in CSR activities in Myanmar and supported various social communities. Now, there is a non-profit organization team lead by our SMART’s employee that takes in lead row of the CSR activities in Yangon.
So, we hope to inspire our partners and stakeholders to be a part of our ongoing commitment to make a difference in the millions of lives we come in contact with daily.

with our beneficiaries towards making a healthier environment

To create a better life, a brighter future for the less privilege and
unfortunate people by raising funds or organizing activities through members,
volunteers and generous donors.

 

Our Activities

Ray of Hope’s activities includes monetary donations and voluntary assistance to
local non-profit organizations and public communities in Myanmar.
Ray of Hope participates to aid in areas to develop Myanmar’s education,
health, social welfare, and environment saving.

EDUCATION
education

Ray of Hope assists in running tutoring programs and donating books or stationary supplies to necessary schools. One frequent program Ray of Help hosts is a regular tutoring class to the Nun Orphanage in Yankin. The Nun Orphanage has 130 nunnery students.

HEALTH
health

Ray of Hope regularly co-organizes with Ananda Myanmar Myittar Foundation, one of the nonprofit organizations formed by doctors to give medical knowledge and treatment to all the sick and families in the rural community.

SOCIAL WAREFARE

Ray of Hope donated a library with 250 books and 20 lakhs kyats in one of the monasteries out of Yangon for the purpose of students to have learning access to books. Part of the social community plan, Ray of Hope commonly donates books, school supplies, clothing, food, and toys to other charity events organized by other non-profit associations.

ENVIRONMENT

On environment day, Ray of Hope annually plants trees with the SMART Group of Companies Employees in places such as (i.e MOGE Jetty compound, Rehabilitation Center, Nautical Institute, General Labor Hospital Compound, Co-operative Univer sity, etc).
