ASEAN – RAY of Hope Project 

Ray of Hope Foundation got the small grant fund from ASEAN CSR Network in last July, 2015 and now starts the project activities under the title of “To Reduce Poverty By Increasing Knowledge Capacity” in which scope of Business and Human Rights. As the project is mainly focus on Yangon and Bago Division, Ray of Hope implement all the operation process by cooperating regional on a self help basis groups and local NGO network to gain objectives effectively.  The main activity of this project are launching illustration books title by “To reduce Poverty By Increasing Knowledge Capacity” and conducting awareness campaign to the project area.

For the first awareness campaign, a group of volunteers from Ray of Hope went to Hlaing Thar Yar Twonship, Quarter 5 on November, 2015 . More than 130 participants, children, adults, old age attended actively. We conducted the awareness training and questions and answer section, delivered books, feeding breakfast and lunch and also gave daily hygiene products as present to them.

The second place is Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Quarter 2 on December,2015. Many numbers of participants, almost 120 actively attended to this program. At there, we also conducted the awareness training and questions and answer section, delivered books, feeding breakfast and lunch and also gave daily hygiene products as present to them.

The third place is Hlagu , Bago Township, Near A Hlaing Ni Dam at Aung Theit Di Monastery Middle School on January , 2016. There are over 120 students from Grade 6 to 10 attended actively to our awareness training. We conducted the awareness training and questions and answer section, delivered books, donated Medicine, many kinds of books for the school library.
